Peridot “the gem of the sun.” opens up the heart area, bringing emotional balance and inner peace. Peridot banishes depression. Cleanses and activates the heart area, it helps expand one’s ability to receive from the Universe on all levels of life.
Did you know? :Placed on the abdomen, Peridot has been utilized as a facilitator for the birthing process, stimulating contractions and assisting the opening of the birth canal, lessening pain.
Yummy mummy oat and date balls
1 cup oat flakes
2 cups finey chopped dates
1 cup chopped raisins
1 cup mixed nuts-cashew, almonds, walnuts ( you can dry roast these as well- optional)
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp cardamon powder
1 tbs Ghee
Coconut flakes for rolling your energy balls in
Pan roast the oat flashes in 1 tbsp ghee until they are slightly darker - (remember to never store ghee in the fridge)
Mix all the ingredients together is a large bowl
Roll into small balls by rolling mixture into your hands.
Roll into desiccated coconut
Yummy tasty and super healthy!
Healthy nutritious vegetarian lentil bobotie
Olive Oil (always)
250g boiled puy lentils
1 onion
15 ml curry powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground coriander 1 ground cumin
1 teaspoon turmeric
380g sliced butternut squash
5 tablespoons maple syrup or 2 tablespoons sugar
5 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
3 cloves garlic
30ml Apple cider vinegar
salt and pepper
TOPPING
300ml Milk,
2 eggs
bay leaves
Stir fry the onion with the curry powder in oil until soft. Add the butternut with 100ml water cover and simmer until cooked and dry. Add the honey and spices, Mash. Pout the lentils in and mix altogether, cook for a few minutes to combine everything. Put in an ovenproof dish.
Mix the milk and 2 whisked eggs, season with salt and pepper and pour over the lentil mixture. Add the bay leaves on top. Bake at 180 C until set for about 45 minutes. Serve with rice.
